Believe it or not, you can easily get a hotel in central Osaka for less than US$100 per night! Here are the best Osaka hotels in the budget category.
Hearton Hotel Shinsaibashi
For most of the year, a night at a budget hotel in Osaka will average around JPY10,000 for a single, twin, or double room. During peak travel seasons – spring (March, April and May) and autumn (October and November) – you may have to pay a little more. Osaka is a very popular travel destination, so you’ll want to book as early as possible to secure rooms. That being said, you can occasionally find some great last-minute deals.
Most budget hotels in Osaka are located in less fashionable hotels just slightly out of the city center. But, you can also find good budget hotels in hot spots like Kita and Minami. Just be aware that with convenient locations comes slightly smaller rooms for the same price!
The Central Osaka/Honmachi district has the highest concentration of budget hotels, but you’ll also find them in the Kita, Minami, Tennoji and the Shin-Osaka areas. Here are our favorite budget hotels in Osaka, based on price, quality, location and service. Be sure to check out the Where to Stay in Osaka page before deciding on an area.
