Abeno Harukas
The second-tallest skyscraper in Japan, the 300m-high Abeno Harukas building offers the best views of the Osaka area. Located in the Tennoji district, Harukas is a huge dining, entertainment and hotel complex. The top three floors of the building (floors 58, 59 and 60) form the Harukas 300 observatory.

Umeda Sky Building
The Umeda Sky Building is a distinctive double tower located a short walk north of Osaka and Umeda stations in the Kita district. The Floating Garden Observatory on floors 39, 40 and 41 offers eye-popping views over the city, as well as the surrounding mountains and Osaka Bay.

Tempozan Ferris Wheel
Located on an artificial island out in Osaka Bay, the 112-meter-high Tempozan Ferris Wheel offers amazing views of the entire bay area, Kobe and Awaji Island. You can also enjoy the sight of airplanes taking off and landing at nearby Kobe Airport and Kansai International Airport. This makes a great addition to a visit to Osaka Aquarium, which is part of the same complex.

HEP Five
Right smack in the middle of the city, the 106-meter-high HEP Five Ferris Wheel is a great way to check out the Kita district from above. By day or evening, the views are spectacular and can extend as far as Kyoto and Kobe on clear days. The entrance is located on the 7th floor of the HEP Five entertainment center, which is a short walk from Osaka and Umeda stations.
