The Boly Osaka At A Glance
- Great for: solo travelers, couples, budget travelers
- Strong points: good location, river views, amazingly cheap
- Sample rates: US$98 to $275
Boly suite with river view
With rates that occasionally dip below US$100 per night, the Boly is one of the cheapest real (as opposed to capsule) hotels in Osaka. And for that price, you wouldn’t expect much, but the Boly will likely exceed your expectations. It’s got a bit of boutique style and the common areas are bright and pleasant.
Boly twin with river view
The Boly is located in Kitahama, on the Keihan Line, which provides easy (and cheap) access to Kyoto. You can walk from the Boly to the center of Kita for Osaka and Umeda Stations. It’s also near two subway stations that will get you to most other parts of the city. So, it may not be the most convenient location, but it’s certainly not bad. And, it’s more peaceful than hotels located in the busy parts of Minami.

So if your budget is limited or you just want to save money to spend on experiences and meals, give the Boly Osaka a close look. It’s a great value for a great little hotel.
