Expo 2025 is a world fair event that will be held in Osaka from April 2025 to October 2025. Few details have been released, but here’s what we know so far. We’ll add information as we get it.

Expo 2025 will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
Where Will Expo 2025 Be Held?
Expo 2025 will be held on the artificial island of Yumeshima, which is in Osaka Bay, close to Universal Studios Japan and Tempozan/Osaka Aquarium.
What Events Will Happen at Expo 2025?
The Expo 2025 Association announced the following: “The Expo will feature initiatives aimed at creating a future society for our lives presented by 150 countries and 25 international organisations, as well as companies, NGOs, NPOs, citizens’ groups, and others from around the world, to provide a vision of achieving the SDGs and the future beyond that.” Okay. So, really, we have almost no idea what will happen at the Expo and what you’ll be able to see. As soon as those very broad strokes are filled in, we’ll publish event and exhibition details here.

How to Get to Expo 2025
Yumeshima is close to Universal City Station on the JR Yumesaki Line, and Osakako Station on the Chuo subway line. We expect that shuttle buses will run from these stops or that the lines will be extended all the way to Yumeshima itself. We will publish details as we have them.
