Minami’s Paprika Shokudo Vegan is tasty and well-balanced vegan dining with an excellent variety of menu options and a rustic yet stylish vibe.

If you’re looking for delicious vegan, vegetarian, or just healthy macrobiotic eats in the Minami area near Yotsubashi, Shinsaibashi, or Honmachi stations, then be sure to make a stop at Paprika Shokudo. With a nicely varied menu featuring Japanese standard classics, pizzas, pastas, salads, and sweets – all completely vegan – and excellent quality, this is definitely not a place to miss.

One thing to note about visiting Paprika Shokudo is that its menu and ordering is all done entirely online – so be sure to come with your phone handy. English support is also somewhat limited, though not enough to cause any serious problems in the dining or ordering experience.

Though the restaurant’s very successful dining menu is built around an evergreen assortment of Japanese and Western classics, Paprika’s kitchen is not one to rest on its laurels. It also features fun limited time seasonal offerings including its assorted lineup of “venuts” – vegan donuts – which I personally love.
