Pokemon room
The Mimaru chain in Japan specializes in apartment-style family-friendly hotels. This iteration in the happening Minami area is our favorite of their Osaka branches. The rooms (apartments?) have everything you and your kids need for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Osaka. And, the staff are super helpful and will help you with advice, information and any assistance you might need.
Family apartment
I can personally vouch for this part of Osaka: I hung out here with my son not too long ago and he loved skateboarding in Triangle Park and the nearby Spotaka indoor skatepark, as well as all the cool shops and restaurants. And, I’ve stayed in Mimaru hotels before with both my kids and they love them – they can really relax and I can get some space to think, read and work.

If you’re bringing the family to Osaka and can afford hotels in this price class, then really, the Mimaru Osaka Namba North is a no brainer: Just book it and start planning your Osaka activities and meals.
