Hankyu Respire Hotel
The Hankyu Respire is an excellent entry to the Osaka hotel scene. It’s located in a tower above the Yodobashi Umeda shopping complex, which is one of Osaka’s best shopping and dining complexes. It’s also a very short walk over to Osaka and Umeda stations, so it makes a great base for exploring Osaka and the rest of Kansai.

The hotel itself is a solid and well-run with rooms that are comfortable and well-kitten out. Many of the rooms offer great views over the surrounding city and the evening views are excellent. There’s a good restaurant, a gym and laundry facilities. And, for families, they offer quad rooms, which are very rare in Japan.
